Streaming Video Freezes

Do you have an older Xbox?

Older Xbox's had some problems with freezing especially with mod chips installed, when accessing a network.

I have one that reacts much like yours and an identical newer one which works perfectly off the same network, servers, etc.

I had this problem too, I found that when my computer (XP Professional) went on standby mode, it kinda logged off from the desktop on which Relax was running and cut the connection causing the timeout. To fix this problem, I right-clicked on the desktop, chose Properties, Screen Saver, Power... Then I changed some of the settings (ie System Standby) because they were setup to turn on early (20 min of inaction)... I hope this helps! Now, if someone can tell me why XBMP Network stops when I hit the pause button...



BTW: I have a 1.0 XBOX with a Xecutor 2 Lite -X2 4973-XBMP 2.4 -Relax .75

you on 100mg full duplex and not 10??

Yes I'm on 100mbps full duplex.  I also tried SMB with the same results.  I tried streaming from another computer and had the same results.  I'm going to try a crossover cable to see if it could be my router.
