ok your mp3 problem sounds dodgy dunno whats up their

but for thumd make sure you have your thums directory and that it's mapped in config xml

Are these mp3 you guys made yourselves? Are downloaded off kazaa? Maybe they're corrupted.

whats the point of using relax or any of the other stream servers?  when smb works perfect no extra installtions just direct it to the shared path and it works.

the prob you are having could be related to the following the files have illegal symbols in them !", etc - works fine. so first try deleting any strange symbols. you could try to ftp the file to your xbox if it transfers then fine if not you have the above problem..

or  your file is over the allowed 40 character limit, rename it.

or  your files are not encoded at the correct sampling rate of 44.1 khz try updating windows media player to version 9 and the newest update, to check the sampling rate and make any alterations neccessary.. hope this helps as my mate had the same problem the above suggestion worked for him.
