it should be in the basic folder after extraction - like f:appsxbmp23default.xbe - make sure u didnt put in the wrong forward backward slash or miss out a letter etc

Make sure it is NOT the source you downloaded.

You can not download any binaries from sf or xbmps official site!

heh good point, the source is got from the website - to get the compiled source - i.e. program you need to look in file sharing places. im assuming this is what you did as there is no way the default.xbe would not be included (its vital to it workign properly!)

you downloaded the source code. you either need to compile it or download a compiled version from a file sharing program
