Quicktime..... I tired a quicktime file, and it didnt work. It says Quicktime6, but mine was older. SO i guess they need older file support(or maybe its a one of ) and sound support.

But, anyone with 2.3, i would get it NOW! Its absolutely awesome. It sucked needing to re-edit the config.xml, but it was worth it. (i done it last week lol, i upgrade to each new build )

Cant wait for the 2 little minor things to be fixed..... once there done, this will be perfect. Right now, its closer than i ever imagined though.

Just installed 2.4, and it works great...but there's one little thing that bugs me: the front page, or "desktop" debug says XBOX Media Player 2.3  Build:14 April 2003 19:30.
I deleted the savegames and tdata file, and changed the new config file, but it still says April.  It's always said that on every new cvs I install, so I tried deleting everything and doing what I thought was a clean install, but it still says April.  I'm sure everyone else's is current, right?  
I know it's a small, stupid problem, but if anyone knows where it gets the build info and how to fix this, let me know.  Thanks



Ah, well.  I just turned it off and I think it looks better that way, so I'll probably leave it.

I tried a quicktime 6 clip (HALO 2 FOOTAGE!!!! YAHHHH!!!), but XBMP 2.4 didnt play it... didnt even start, darn

Suckdogg, similar problem here, only that it says 2.3 June 2nd, as that is the date that it was compiled at and the uploaded to my 'usual' place.
