dont reckon its the BIOS if you can load homebrew s/w . . .

if app is not loading 90% of time the path or directory structure is incorrect either in the evox.ini or on the xbox HDD.

edit . . .

post your evox.ini (just the item line)

Ditto here, same problem. My only guess is its because I don't have the correct msdash installed as slayers doesn't hacve an option for 4034 dash. I'll try changing it and see.

Ive tried using the "Execute default.xbe" raw command in flashfxp and did the samething. Im starting to think that this program is not v1.1 PAL compatiable?

I'VE GOT IT!!!

Go to the Slayer's IRC and download the latest version of XBMP, from FTP, erase the copy you have in Xbox and copy the one you just download. IT WORKS!
Btw, I'm using a Build 19 May 2003 release of XBMP

Check your PMs gongon11

Damn I hope this works, Im very greatful XBMP Team made this program, but I ask that they make a more "n00b" friendly installation pack or readme to follow *that is if they do read these forums*

I found it confusing and quite hard to follow :

If you just want to install XBMP and get it working i.e. 2.3 and upgrade to CVS there is a pinned 10 step guide @ the top.

It discusses installation and works!

edit . . .

if straight 2.3 install then i think you may need to use the XBOX Media Player.cut in the root of C:\ partiton.

Its been a while but you have to point XBOX Media Player.cut at where you have installed your XBMP binaries. I cannot confirm this for sure as its been months since i just used 2.3. Experiment wink.gif

i.e.

Harddisk0\Partition1\apps\xbmp\default.xbe

^^^ E:\apps\xbmp\

Above is where my xbmp has been installed.

You do not need this with CVS unless you are using XBMP as dashboard.
