Correction:

Error: Can't open file   E:\apps\xbmp\playlists\playlist0.m3u

There are folder seperators {backslashes} displayed here

Just didn't display after posting

Correction of my local setting in config.xml.. as original post didn't display backslashes

mine did that too, are you sure the file is in the playlists folder of XBMP? Because i loaded it onto my F partition and fogot to change that in the config.xml file.
