okay.....so i've dl'ed and installed Relax, but when i run it a warning message comes up saying "no allowed iplist is given in the configuration tab. So everything is shared for everyone.  If you dont mind, then you can disable this warning on the same configuration tab."
So i dont know if that's a problem or what,

Personally i put a tick in the box in Relax075 > Extra Options . . .

Reason? . . .

If you are experiencing relax / xbox not connecting and you have relax installed as a service . . . i.e. you are using relax.exe NOT relax_ns.exe . . .

Try the following as a fix . . .

The fix to relax075 not starting as a service is to check the "Disable error message for empty iplist", or add your ip's to the allowed list. (make sure there is a tick in the box!!)

If you leave that empty it pops up a dialog box warning that you don't have ip security turned on, and waits for you to click OK.

The problem with the service is that it is trying to pop up this dialog box, but can't, and it is waiting for you to click OK on the phantom window.

Thus the lack of starting in a "timely fashion"

When i launch XBMP 2.3....and then select my music/my pictures/videos then select the XNS server........nothing happens.  it sits there...then goes back to the options. I've read forums for 2 days trying to find out what's wrong. I've rewritten config over and over, and still cant get it to work.

wtf am i doin wrong?
