hmmmm well you shpuld only get xbmp from the ftps in #xbmp on efnet also what version are you using complex or the latest cvs

ok where did you download it i wouldent recomend anywhere but #xbmp

and i certainly wouldent get it from xbins as they suck and screw up all the time

Delete EVERYTHING you downloaded unless you have plans on compiling it yourself wich i dont think you will.

You wont find the binaries/compiled version anywhere near the official site/s couse the xdk used to make the compile is not legal for hombrew scene use.

Try efnet, and check around here, there are some subtile hints on where you will be able to get xbmp.

you would get it from a compiled version of xbmp.  from the sounds of the post you just have the source files.  look around for the compiled version where jaydee mentioned.
