Filezilla And Flashfxp?
« on: April 26, 2003, 11:26:00 AM »

it could be that you were playing a song or were playing a movie during the browsing with flashfxp. Then it could be that he did not find the particular directory

no... i wasn't doing that.  I think its related to how flashfxp sends commands, and what filezilla expects for commands... but i'm not sure

you can FTP etc whilst playing song / movies . . .

the problem may be . . .

with old CVS releases it may necessary to change folder once connected
using FlashFXP by using . . .

Change Folder (Ctrl+Ins)

old CVS had a few FTP issues i.e all folders not being visible.

Newer CVS is a lot better.  What release you using?

Thanks for sharing about the power off bit... I don't know for sure if thats really the solution but I had the exact same problem tonight and I just got it to work finally by shutting down the xbox and FlashFXP and then turning the xbox back on and FTP'g to it.  I think you could get it to list the other drives that evox showed by editing the .xml file just copy and past the permissions and change the drive letter to the missing xbox letters.

Peace

OK talk about bizarre...  so i give up for the night and this morning i try to tinker with it.  I load up xbmp and flashfxp, log in, and though its not showing all the drives right now (? c,d,e,f, used to get a few others with evox) it works fine.  Thats screwy...  maybe it had something to do with shutting the box all the way off... hmm

X Y Z aint maped in xbmp by default.

In config.xml at the top add this:

   <map>C:,Harddisk0\Partition2</map>
   <map>E:,Harddisk0\Partition1</map>
   <map>F:,Harddisk0\Partition6</map>
   <map>X:,Harddisk0\Partition3</map>
   <map>Y:,Harddisk0\Partition4</map>
   <map>Z:,Harddisk0\Partition5</map>

And you´ll be able to browse all drives as in evo-x
