What is the actual error code you get?

no code, just says "error: unable to locate file" in an XBMP-style window with a distorted background

Delete e:tdataface007system.bin

Ftp ALL files over to the xbmp folder again. ALL files!!!

Make sure your config.xml point to the right folder as Doing it like Methius said.

Download the XML file maker from here:  XBMP.  You most likely don't have the home setup correctly.  This file will do everything for you. jester.gif

I finally got mine to work!  The program above helped a little, but I needed an english version, I ended up changing everything, utils=apps, xboxplayer=xbmp,etc... Then I printed it out to compare with my config.  The main difference was the d drive wasn't mapped on the new one, so I deleted the <map> for the d drive and it worked.
Then I figured I wouldn't be able to play off the d drive, but it works fine.
It almost makes sense.  Give it a try.

I just have my evoxdash, which I've been using as my default dash.  I suppose if you were using xbmp as your dash, you would enter msdash as the dash in the config.  It's probably the dash that it escapes to when you hit the orange button on the main page of xbmp.
I'm thinking of switching to xbmp as my dash; it's pretty damn cool.

All I did was delete the d, x, y, and z maps from the config and added that <home> line after the <imdb> line, and mine works great off the hard drive.  No more swapping.  Maybe I could email you my config, it's only like 2.8k.
