I think you should check if all your shortcuts are right, since thats what's freezing it.

My XBMP 2.3 froze on me a couple of times, but that was just due to a video I had playing on it.. false file size and video length, stuff like that.  So I just figured it was the on the video fault

MAke sure you don't have the timeserver xml entry in your config.xml

It's the first thing I mention...I dont have a timeserver entry in any of my config.xml files, not even in the original untweaked one...

Mine freezes too, i have xbmp_2.3_cvs_compile_xbins_3-29-03 build, and i havent seen anything in the config about timeserver, it freezes everytime on the screen saver only about 2 mintues into a song.....

@socrates:  If you revert to a v2.2, does it still freeze for ya?
