Where Can I Get The Newest Codecs?

Where should I look for these.. I got some problems with ffslide... I need newer ones..
Besides that I got problems with the subtitles that sometimes do not show up properly. with word like " Oke with / on top of the e " , then I get to see
" Ok0 ". Like I need an update for this, because I don't have these problems on my PC.
