Is It Possible To Install A Power Button?

if they supported it in the software, you could turn OFF the xbox using the remote. but not on, becuz the receiver doesnt get any power when the xbox is off.

yea hardware mod..

add an rf transmitter to your remote and a reciever in teh xbox.. tada.. there are guides i believe and even a kit you can buy

yea hardware mod!!! lol...buy a xir easy kit like i did where i can turn the xbox on and off now with the xbox dvd remote...very easy installation too

Xboxr, you connect D0 to the 'hole' in the top part of the XIR.
Then depending how you power up the xbox (Select or Display) it enables or disables the modchip.
Very simple really. But there is some soldering involved.
