Can't See .sc Files When I Browse Music
« on: March 21, 2003, 04:40:00 PM »

If it's in your extension list, then it should show.  Doesn't matter if it is a remote share or directly on the HDD.

Make sure the SC extension is in the music category.  Here's a line from my config:
       <music>nfo|pls|rm|sc|mpa|wav|wma|ogg|mp3|m3u</music>

Yup that format is correct.

Does your XBMP config.xml on your xbox contain:
   <extensions>
     <music>sc|mpa|wav|wma|ogg|mp3|m3u</music>
(note the sc extension)

Make sure you have the latest build of XBMP.  I'm pretty sure you'll need at least 2.3 for native Shoutcast support.

Well, I'm stumped... the 3/19 build is more than adequate and definitely supports .SC files.

How are you accessing your remote shares?  If through RelaX, make sure your extension list includes sc, or is "*" (minus the quotes)

Or sometimes the most obvious problems are overlooked.  If it's on a remote share, Windows hides file extensions by default.  (i.e. the file might be named stream.sc.txt)  Either turn off the option to "hide file extensions" or try renaming the file to "stream.sc" (INCLUDE the quotes.)
