I am running the 25-03-03 version and am not able to get the subtitles to work with .sub files..

What do I need to get this working?

While we're at it,

Does anyone know how to suppress the subtitle timing offset bar that covers about a third of the screen every once in a while. I only get this once or twice per movie, but it does kinda break the mood. Its the big blue thing at the top.

I only have problems with subtitles when playing from DVD-R
Both files on HD or via SMB does work well.
