QUOTE (hulkyh @ Mar 14 2003, 01:29 PM)
Is there a programm that makes it possible to copy the files from the dvd-player in the xbox (like avi or mp3) from the cdr to the xbox and that automatically rename the files that it is possible to store those files?

FTP and boxplorer will do what you ask.

however you will need to rename the files once FTP'd

boxplorer has ability to rename, copy, delete, move files etc.

with the version that I got it does not work.. In boxexplorer I press start to select a partition or drive. When I selecte drive D: it shows nothing. The cdr is working because I already tested it in xbmp.

Should I get an update for this boxexplorer? Or do I have to do it another way?

In order for BoXplorer to read the disc, the disc has to be made using an Xbox-ISO. XBMP can read non-Xbox-ISO discs but can't copy them. In fact XBMP is the only program that I know of (and I've tested quite alot) that can read the non-Xbox-ISO discs. I think they (the XBMP team) are working on a "file manager" for XBMP, but I'm not certian.

I will check that program. And am hoping that xbmp will think of such a programm...
