You need to get a little app called XNSPlsEdit. Then you go to Shoutcast's website, and find the link to a station you want. RIGHT-click the link, save the target to your hard drive, and use XNSPlsEdit to generate ".sc" files (you'll get one for each server available for the station). Then you simply copy the ".sc" files to your music folder, and open them with XBMP!

The doc that comes with XNSPlsEdit provides a few more details.

I put the .sc files in the music folder but XBMP does not recognize them.  Is there some settings I need to change?

Thanks

Sure you got the right path to your HD in config.xml?

need help people,

got same problem as rastaman, xbox is setup with relax 75 and works well with pc,  but when i try and play the .sc files i get a box saying opening (and lists the site) but after about 20secs it returns to the player without playing anything.

is there anything i should be changing in the config files or adding to the shares in relax.
as im not quite sure how shoutcast works you can understand my confusion.
