Problems Playing Wmv And Mov

When playing WMV I get perfect sound but the lower half of the picture is distorted. Big, squares of f**ked up picture. Once in a while the picture is fine for a couple of seconds. I've checked the files. They are OK. I even FTP'ed them back to the PC to see if something went wrong while FTP'ing them to the XB, but no.

Suggestions anyone?  unsure.gif

Doesn't support MOV? That's wierd. There are some quicktime stuff in the dll folder...

What is the newest wmv codec?

it should work, try downloading the xbins compile it might be better. Sometimes, movie types can be strangely converted and stuff, such as some videos that may have one extension, but actually be a different type.
