Can't you use the "learn" function of your remote?? With the one I have you just put them head to head and let the universal one learn the code of the original one...

And yes it is possible to make an on button, but you have to add some electronics part, there is a tutorial out there somewhere that can be found pretty easy by using the search option...

YEa I was looking at universal remoptes the other day to see if i coould find one with the xbox on there pre programed.. couldent find one..
