That would be a fantastic idea,

For exacple, I have a standard, 16:9 widescreen TV, but I some times take my xbox to my paretns house, to play Tigerwoods with my dad.
Anyway , He has  Super Huge Bloody Big HDTV, and my its a pain in the arse reconfigering everything each time I go there.

This option would be fantastic. for the movies side of thing.

Could it be implemented into the dash in anyway to effect all items ?

Also regarding NTSC vs PAL

If you are watching an NTSC movie on a PAL box it goes all crap, jerky etc etc, so chainging this to NTSC would sort the problem out,
And if you can change back just as easy it would be great
( currently we have to use the Enigmha Video Selector to change the Whole system )

think this would be awsome

Good luck

In which version are the HDTV control implemented? and do they really include corresponding skin.xml mode entries, so in 1080i mode the menus etc are still usable?
