Xbox-scene would never give you a link to download this program. Anyone who thinks they did have probably downloaded the source code. If you dont know the difference delete the source code now as you will never need it and its useless.

It should only have "dll", "locale" and "media" folders. And there should definitely be a xbe file. If there isnt, try downloading from a source that isnt a load of arse.

Thanks!!  I went back to 2.2 because of this problem.  I loved the text scrolling (because I have allot of anime with long file names) but didnt do me any good if I couldnt watch em.   Thanks again!

QUOTE (Maran @ Feb 21 2003, 08:57 AM)
Is it possible to play .avi and .mpg movies from cd-r in xbmp 2.3? I have tons of movies on cd-r. I burned them like as data-cd with nero, because I wanted to watch them from my computer, but now when I got my xbox, my question is if it is possible with any program to watch them?

Would be glad if anybody could solve my problem!

Martin

Not from cd-r, wince xbox can only ready cd-rw, dvd-r, dvd+r, so you need to put those .avi and .mpg on a cd-rw.

Yep, the picture is centered incorrectly. You can calibrate a bit offscreen so that you get full screen.

How can you get rid of the fps adjustment that one time always appear in a xmp above the screen while watching a movie?

Is Xbox Media player ALOT Better then 2.2 ?

If so, what are the major differences between the 2 of them ?

I would just download the new one myself and try it but it took me so long to get 2.2 to work, I don't want to go through all the effort of it, if it's not better then 2.2, thanks.

I upgraded from v2.2 to 2.3 and there is improvements. I can now watch this movie that I downloaded which previously would not work in v2.2 but only on my pc.

Also it seems more solid. Well done.

I have a pal xbox and I can play divx disks wich have been burned at 8x or more and have no problems, I also found out I could get two exstra gigs as well wich was nice. Now I have the new media player and flipping hell what a change to thet last looks compleatly diffrent and has tons new features. Thanks again cube!
