how do i use progpatcher.exe? when i doubleclick it , it just pops up a dos screen and goes away. When i try the hex thing for dvdx2, i just get a blank screen when i run it on my hdtv. Please help.

i applied component cables and applied the patch in DVDX2

and when i run a dvd in DVDX2 it is just black....

i dont have a HDTV but i have a TV with component cables and im using the HDTV pack???

what u guys think?


when i go into the m$ dash i selected 480p....when i play games does that mean im gettn 480p or 480i...i cant tell the difference?

You need to do that in a command window. If you're running win 2000/xp type "cmd" in a run dialog to bring up a command line. then browse to the directory where progpatcher.exe and the .xbe files are using "cd" and then type progpatcher.exe to run it. It will display its various options and how to use it.

Are you using the hdtv component a/v pack to connect you're xbox to your tv??

Ummm exactly what file do we edit for the dvdx 2 patch? the xboxdash.xbe or the default.xbe of the dvdx folder? I tried both and both couldnt find the original line
