Its common.
Not all files or file types playback correctly.
Until your sure you not missing something hold off on critizing these guys too harshly.
Even if it turns out that XBMP isnt working correctly for that mov file
it probably will work in future release's.
Compatibility seems to take 3 steps forward an one step back with each release.
Pretty kick ass for free hackbox software though...

.mov files are completely different from .mpg or .avi files.

Just converted the Doom3.mov preview to AVI format.
What a pain in the Ass.

I read the manual again about mov and qt.
I am not sure they can be played back at all... accept for wma files.

Its over my head and I cant find much info on it at the XBMP forums.

Is that what you meant Shanafan?
