Got it to work.

Actually, the IGR feature in Evox is crashing XBMP.
After disabling the *3* IGR options in evox.ini, XBMP started to work fine.

This new version is really better, but I regret the previous on play skin control.
Will look later if it is possible to get the old one back or not (6:41am here, haven't slept yet).

On a personnal comment, FUCK evox team which are not smart enough to release a fix to their broken IGR, and many THANKS to Xecutor team, which released a fixed version of their IGR rather than bitching.

3. Seems to 'hang' a lot more than previous versions.


The CVS build from januari 11th doesn't have the above issues.
Since Samba isn't really an issue for me, there's not enough extra useful stuff in this release,
so I'll stick with the mentioned CVS release till thing het fixed. It should work with Evox IGR imho.

Update
I've gotten a later CVS build (januari 12th !!) and this works fine with Evox IGR (evox 3285, evo bios 2.5 colormod, matrix). I even have the myapps thing and all the new settings. The only thing I don't have is it crashing on me

I left all the dll's + the config from 2.2 release in place, just replaced the rest of the files with the versions from the
CVS release. Haven't tested samba, but it should be in the CVS release as well. Dunno what's different in the point
release, but there's something in there that makes for the frequent crashing and startup freezing.

One last thingie:

Since version 2.1 the black screen after pressing the blue button (while playing mp3's) only lasts for the duration
of the song and it shows xbmp screen again. Before it stayed black during the entire playlist.

Anyway to get this back ? (To prevent burnin on my TV)

freezing .......... Everything working but

I will load it and do nothing and it locks up on it's own.

Started locking up more after Relax 6 was setup and working.?

It's almost like it's trying to call a funtion and then locks. Again I have had it streaming and playing all file formatts working.

Is it just me? or are others having the same problems?

I love the playlist save option.
It is saving the screen settings and keeping them on re-set.
Have not used the dash.

change fonts in xbmp2.2 back to earlier built versions...
locate three common_fonts**.xpr files from earlier versions and replace the new files in the newer versions ..
these files are located in the media directory...
