Xbmp2 - Caching Iso Files
« on: December 22, 2002, 06:52:00 PM »

I've got a dvd with 5 divx movies on which i'd like to watch on the xbox, i went thru the iso option, and it said it was caching the files, it got to 100% and then nothing.  Any ideas ?  I believe it's putting the file onto another partition, but i can't see it thru xbmp2

No didn't try that, i already have 5 dvd's worth of Divx movies that i wanted to play on the xbox, and i don't want to have to reburn them.  I was hoping that i could figure out why the media player was caching them, and if there was a way to move them somewhere else.

From what I have read you can't run straight from the dvd drive yet.
Sure it reads the disc and tells you whats there but apparantly a DRIVER needs to be written so it will play...I'd rather not burn special discs so it can only play in xbox...Like most people I have svcd and the like coming out of my arse and to reburn them is a pain there aswell..
