I fixed the config.xml to locate the videos but XBMP still can't find them. I don't understand, the paths are all good.

However, could the problem be I have a "-" in the filename?

i had the same prob!

try removing the space in your config.xml

<music> e:\music </music>
<music> e:\music</music>

remove the space in all your config paths
this worked for me

Although I do have an underscore in the directory name. Might try to take that out.

Got it working now. I feel like a right dick

My slashes were the wrong way round (I'm a unix guru at work) so my pats were e:\media/mp3

Still got it working now.
