I don't know if you can. Also if you edit the submenu you probably won't be able to use the submenueditor script to edit the buttons.

i know i was gonna ask about that
i didnt edit the script much,so can i edit the python on that it can work

all i really did was change button size and position really

I'm sure you could but I have no idea how to. I know absolutely nothing about scripts, except that they confuse me. blink.gif

Have you figured out how to only make it visible while in the games blade yet?

na all i worryied about was the menu
but ima give it a try later



i tested the script and i still can use it to edit the items
the onlything right now is tha i cant hide the last item cause it makes the selector hide 2

i was bored so
i made it to have the scolling menu is still not 100%

so u can have many items but u cant edit it with the script that i know off

and i donno how to make it appear only in the game label

you know what, i don't think you need to use the script to create a favorites list.  you could actually code it into xml, but you'd have to define each button.  i'll take a crack at it and maybe add the option into our supermod.

wut i did was edit the xml from the favorite list from ya mod and made it so it has a scoll list

right now seen im new to xml im editing it more and more so i can learn
cause i wanna try to make a skin

you edited dialogsubmenu.xml right?

what i'm talking about is editing home.xml, custom1112_GamesHome.xml etc.  i made it so that the menu changes depending what button is highlighted.  you'll see.  i've been testing it and integrating it into the code and it seems to work great.  you just need to edit the xml's i changed to point to the files you want.  i'll include instructions when i finish it.

it'll be in the supermod. smile.gif

I f we add it to the mod as an option we are gonna have to do some more guide blade rearranging. We have run out of room on the options and customize theme blades. We are probably gonna have to make a new one.

exactly. favorites is contained in its own section.  i saw the space issue as well and created a new blade for the favorites settings.

the way i made it, you can have favorite games, apps, homebrew, emulators, and scripts.  it'll be in the supermod released either tonite or tomorrow i think.    if you want screenshots, let me know and i'll put some up tomorrow.

all i needed to do was move the buttonscroller over to the right 20 pixels, and then i added all my wide icons to the media folder....after that i pointed a <texturenofocus> command for each game to each image

ok now my question is.... how do i extend this white box? i cant seem to stretch it out to the size of my wide icons.... =-( heres what it looks like now on my box.... ple ple ple please help =-)
