Movie Trailers Not Working
« on: June 07, 2006, 06:49:00 PM »

I mentioned this in the Bug Report thread, but I think it got burried quickly. My internet connection is definetly okay since I've got RSS feeds and weather working fine.
The problem is, when I select Movie Trailers from the Media blade, it stalls at this screen:

When I select Cancel, it says 'Canceling' and just hangs there. Back doesn't work either. I do get the right thumbstick menu to work (so I can restart XBMC).

Is anyone else experiencing this?

That happened for me too on some of the trailers.  On most of the trailers I picked I had no problem.  I figured it might have something to do with the apple website.  Although it would be nice if it timed out like it used to.

QUOTE(fatavatar @ Jun 7 2006, 09:38 PM) View Post

I had this same problem when I first tried to use the Movie Trailers prior to setting up my DNS.  After I correctly set it up, it would hang on that screen.  To solve it...

Thanks fatavatar! That's got to be my problem too, since I did initially run it without having my DNS properly set first. I'll try your fix tonight.
I guess this is a Quicktime Browser bug then, and not related to MC360.
