A quick question for those in the know:
I flashed my Xbox v1.0 TSOP with a bad version of iND-BIOS 5003 (Embedded .cfg <--this screwed me... would have been nice if the readme warned users not to use the "feature"!). My box will now boot up and load evox but I have no sound or video output (I know it's loading evox because I can ftp in). I've tried to reflash the TSOP by using the following methods:
1. Eurasia Flash Disc (Uses Linux to flash the chip off of a CD)
DID NOT WORK: The program loads, but nothing happens. (I know it's loading because I can no longer ftp in when I use it).
2. Xecuter 2.2PRO (Tried to hook my old pogo pin chip up and...)
DID NOT WORK: I know the chip has good bios's on it, and that it's hooked up correctly, but the bios won't load. The xbox keeps loading the bad TSOP bios.
3. Evox ftp raw commands (Tried to flash using FLASHBIOS xxxx)
DID NOT WORK: ftp says: attempting to flash bios xxxx, goodbye. and then nothing happens, evox still ftp'able.
So I'm kind of at a loss here the bios partially works, but I can't get the stupid thing to reflash. Is my only option a 29 wire chip such as Xray3 (god I hate small solder points)? Say it ain't so.
