I figured i gotta use raincoat instead of evox...

How in the hell do you use it? Do i have to install linux onto the xbox to use it?!

Im confused  :(

Evox just freezes on erase (Im using a winbond tsop) so i need to use raincoat...

Isnt there a xbe of anything i can just run to do the same thing?

A quick reply would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I take it someone else flashed your tsop before? Anyway if your tsop is already flashed and you want to reflash it just grab one of the save game exploits, e.g. 007 Agent Under Fire exploit, and launch the default.xbe contained in it. That will launch a mini version of linux and will allow you to telnet in to use raincoat.

Good Luck <

My TSOP hasnt been flashed before, im  using the bert and ernie font exploit.

Ive soldered the points on the top of the board but when i try and flash the bios using evox it freezes on erase.

So from reading some articles it seems i need to use raincoat, but i dont have a memory card etc..

Is there a package with raincoat i can download with a xbe, so i can just transfer the xbe and other files to the hdd and run it from there, telnet and then use raincoat?

Thanks,

No evox won't flash it fine, can't flash winbonds with evox...Grab a gamesave exploit for TSOP (exploits\_packages on xbins) and once u exploit to evox, choose raincoat, see the penguin, hear the noises, launch command prompt on ur pc (u must be on the 192.168.0.1 default gateway/router ip) then type: telnet 192.168.0.64, login is root, password is xbox...copy and paste the commands from the readme u get with the gamesave package into commands prompt, raincoat will flash it...it's very easy. <
