Isnt 480p the standard resolution anyway, as in through standard cables? It will support every format that XBMC can do.

standard output is 480i in pal to get 480p you need the hidef cables the actual resolution dosn't change though it just outputs to progressive instead of interlaced which makes it look better

So yes the skin will support it

Well, on my TV, XBMC *can* go above and beyond 480i, but it looks entirely wrong for some reason. Text is miniscule and everything just seems...off.

MC360 will look almost like the 360 dash on all HD settings?

Its much much much better. I highly recommend it. And yeah DVDX2 does but on the version I have I had to hex edit it to support it. There is a tutorial around that tells you how to do it.
