this is one sick looking skin....very clean and simple...I love the fact that I can take out certain categories from the home menu.....I only use my xbox to stream movies, music, and pictures so its nice to remove the games, apps, and weather category...skin a lil glitchy but it works great...choosing ur own high res background for each category is a plus too smile.gif

okok i missed smth here, exactly @ home ?  where you start /??  its the right thmb right ???

at the home screen you just push up on the d-pad and you'll get another set of tabs... for that matter, if you push down on the homescreen you'll get another set of tabs as well.

Sounds like your running out of memory on the good old xbox tongue.gif
Are you using the updated Ver 11c? In the skin settings do you have
it set to the Xbox mode? Are your moive icon set to 192kb?
What I had to do is take all the back drops that are 1080p
and convert with Irfanview to 720x1080 BMP.
That help with the black-outs I was having on my xbox.
There's lots of tips over at
XBMC.org--> Creators Corner--> Skin Development and Skinning Requests
Hope that helps

I'm still new to this xbmc thing and I'm at work so bear with me  tongue.gif
There are two ways you can set your icons to 192KB that im aware of:
You can use the advanced XML way and put it in your userdata folder( not sure how to set this up)
Option 2 (the way I did it) when you setup a folder to scan for Movies (IMDb scrapers settings)
at the bottem there is a settings tab you can going in to and set the icon cache to 192kb.
Try it out a let me know.

i am also having issues with it playing large movie files over my network didnt have this issue before installing aeon i just do now goes over most skins

Do you have Movie file on your xbox HD? Do they play? It might be the latest XBMC. I having the same problem on both of my softmodded xbox's. And plus, this skin has alot of bugs
This is from the Aeon [ALPHA]: Discussion Thread over at XBMC.org from djh_;

Here are some known issues with this build:

- Button menu (aka Shutdown menu) may refuse to open after a while.
The cause of this is unknown: it could be skin or XBMC-related
- Several animation/timing glitches in Showcase and Episode views
- Music/Music Video info needs attention
- Some dialogs remain unskinned (but are usable)
- File Manager is unusable
- Music OSD is a bit messed up
- Music Visualisation settings are unusable
- Plenty of minor glitches scattered here and there
- View types option does nothing on windows to which it
doesn't apply

Turns out i had a bad build still not getting playback from showcase or wall view but thats probably just a mem issue works fine in list mode and is very usable
