Overwriting Tsop

Two questions

1) My xbox is tsop flashed.  if i isntall a x3 will it overwrite the tsop?  like if i turn the modchip off, can i play on live undetected?  or will the tsop always be there?

2) if i do a dual hd mod and have the original xbox hd, and i load up to that, could i go on live?  or the fact that my mobo and tsop are flashed, does that keep me from live under all circumstances?  thanks for all help!!

no. your mod chip just bypasses the onboard bios. if it's flashed to something hacked, and then you bypass it with the chip, it'll boot hacked. if you boot with the chip disabled, you're booting to the onboard hacked bios. the only way to go on live is to reflash the tsop with an original bios/put in a switch etc.

you're still booting hacked bios on the tsop. if you replaced that with the original bios you'd be good to go. no way around that (unless you go with a switch and only have 1/2 the bios original and 1/2 hacked)

if i reflashed with the linux exploit through auf and put in a x3 would i be able to play on live with linux running?

An easy route you could go is to obtain (I don't think xbins has it, so you'll need to get it from somebody) an original (unhacked) bios and flash it to one of the slots on your x3.  Then, just switch to that slot and play on Live :)
