Splitting 1mb Tsop

I want to split my 1mb TSOP.... i was reading that it doesn't work well with MULTI bioses.....  If i split it can i have Original xbox bios, X2 4983.06 bios, M8 Bios, and color edited and animation edite X2 4981.06.....  Any help will be kindly appreciated.... THANKS EVERYONE :lol:

you can have every bios without the evoxd6 or so i think.

ive got only a 2-way split: 1 bank original 1 bank X2 4977

you dont need more.

why would you need so many bios'? i can see if you want to boot one dash over the other, but is it really that hard just to set it up in a 'dashboard' menu and go from there?

what other reason would you have? they're not all that different from each other [aside from booting colour mod noani etc].

Dude, just run a two bios split.  One for whatever, and the other half for the original just in case.  Heck....recently, I decided to just leave the HD unlocked and just run modified just in case something iffy happens and I can salvage my HD for another XBOX or PC.  I barely even used the original bios but I still got it there.  I just leave the switch to the left where I set the modified bios.  No need for more than 2.

yea no need for more than two bios.  Which makes me think why are these new mod chips with 1MB and some even 2MB upgrade.  No need for more than two bios (hacked & retail).  Use terrorvis diagram.  ive done 512 split on a v1.0 xbox works great.  Just make sure you flash with the correct bios size or use the latest verion of raincoat to the flash the TSOP

OK i decide to split it in 2 instead... followed the graph above...  The xbox had a 4981.06 and i tried flashing the other half.... when i did... it flashed the whole thing... not just half.... why?

Does your switch have a centre (i'm english, it is spelt correctly) position?  If you flashed with the switch in the centre, your switch has ne effect.  Or it could be your wiring is not quite right.
