Okay here comes the beta. I hope the link works.
Thanks to Slumberpod for hosting the skin !

Known bugs:
- Fonts not rendered with complet charset, I have used english wich works.
- Current supported Resolution is Pal 16x9. Dont use 4x3 or any other cause it will look fucked !
- Xlink kai has not been editet so they have the PMIII look still.

Todo:
- Render fonts with complete charset
- Fix rest of graphics, Xlink kai, OSD etc
- Add some more details like glass look on the album, movie covers.
- Add support for 4x3 PAL\NTSC
- Add support for 1080i and 720p

Please give feedback on any other bugs or elements that looks wrong. After all this editing i have surley forgotten something

Wow, this is great.  Just DL'ed and installed, and it looks great on my TV.  Can't wait to see what it looks like in 720p.

A few bugs I've found (sorry ).

There's no Title, Image and Description for 'Settings' and 'File Manager' and the Drive Info (when enabled) appears in the bottom right and not in the top left of the skin -



Also scrolling right from 'Shut Down' skips 'Settings' and goes to 'File Manager' and scrolling left from 'Scripts' skips 'File Manager' and goes to 'Settings'.

Nothing to be sorry for thats the whole point with betas.

I do not have the bug wich you refer to. Thats strange.
Your sure you have 16x9 modus. Also you have all settings to default.
Cause i can also se that your font is wrong. The data and time font are not right.

Gonna see if i can get the same result by tweaking something in my settings.

Maybe i know why the drive info are wrong. Seems that you have enabled both drive onfos in the settings menu.
I might have forgotten the G drive stuff. Gonna check it out.

Oh and going right from shutdown skips to file manager. The navigation there are buggy. But in the xml its right. i chekced it my self. Might be some weird bug. Cause it doesent always skip. try your self. It depends fro, what point you "go in" from.

Okay homescreen bug with enabled drive info for EFG is fixed.
Also fixed is the skinsettings page under system settings.

As i dont bother to rebuild for all updates i just post download links to the xml files
i fix.

Copy and replace both this xml file under skin PAL 16X9 folder

Okay fixed the DVD launch buttons on the home screen.
Also fixed some bugs in the home.xml file wich might have caused some
bugs on the homescreen (spaces)

I have updated the home.xml file so use this link and download it again

Put it in your skin 16x9 folder

Just unzip and put them in the root of your skin\media folder !

Oh you run it in 720
I have not fixed the skin for that res. Then i understand your problem.
Since im a nice guy im soon gonna post a fix for 720 for you in an hour
You need to have the correct font.xml file under 720p in the skin.

I have also fixed some minor bugs and added full support for xlink kai.
I post a new link with all the new fixes soon.

Yeah I know it's not done yet but I thought I'd just let you know there's not a lot needs fixing really.

I have tested it in 480p and still get the wierd button scrolling problem. I tried to edit the onleft and onright commands in the Home.xml for both PAL and PAL16x9 but for some reason it it still goes wrong once you move off the left or right off the screen.

And thanks for upcoming 720p fix though.

Okay. Latest bug fixes and stuff to the skin status:

I have decided to make a new zip file containg all updates for the skin until now.

- Added font fix for 720p (must be tested)
- Full skin support for xlink kai
- Added support for xlink kai and dvd launch buttons on home screen
- Fixed better button navigation on homescreen (needs even more work)
- Added new skin support for the info panel
- Bug fix in home.xml (some spaces removed)
- Drive info on homescreen should now work on both EFG and CEF

Unpack it to a temp dir. Copy content of each folder inside zip to same folder on your xperience skin on the
xbox. Overwrite all. (choose another skin before copying !)

Thanks for all your testing. When you have time to test the new changes. ie 720p please post some new screens as i cant test 720p

I see. Could you post a screenshot of your homescreen with default font enabled in 720p ?
Also the gradient background wich seems to be in the wrong size. Does this apply
to all the info popups or is it a specific button this applys to ?

Btw did the rest of the fixes work with you ?

I have for the moment no idea why the gradient.png comes off so wrong in 720p.
Everything looks ok in normal PAL 16X9 i hope ?

Also is the gradient looking like your screenshot on all of the buttons or is it just weather and filemanager button ?

I gonna talk to slumperpod about it. As the org PMIII skin only has font.xml
in the 720p folder didnt think that i had to redo any of the png files.

Also i noticed that the buttons for filemanager and setting are in the wrong place and has wrong size.

Could you post me a screen for PAL 16X9 plain with default font when you get the time ? (no 720p)
