One Small Question

Well i am probably buyin a xbox from a guy on XS and he says it needs 2 be TSOPed. And he said it will not run till it has a good bios. so how can i even load 007 if the box has no bios or a bad 1

hes scammin you you cant fix a bad tsop witha  a modchip or depends on how he messed it up

To boot the Xbox up you can use a modchip, but if you want to repair the TSOP you should use 29-wire mod.

i read that i can have the 3 wires soldered 2 a18 a 19 and the yellow thin and i can get in and reflash

That is when the 1MB bios has been flashed with a 256k bios by shorting the points it allows for the first bios bank to be booted allowing for you to have a chance to "reflash" the chip.  It all depends on how they were flahed to begin with that is the deciding factor of if it can be repaired by shorting the points
