xbonz00889, I partially agree but it also depends what you are going to use it for. Many emulators almost REQUIRE more. Also, a linux box would be a great benefit to more ram.

Y do u love it so much though granted u might get a few seconds faster on the loads but it cost like like 40 dollars and then the work that u put into it. Sorry im just against it............

I would love to put another 64mb in mine but cant find the chips cheap enough anywhere.

I basically like it because of the N64 emulation speed. Works much better than with only 64mb, otherwise, yes I dont know why you would need it other than that an Linux, which I dont use much.

i don thave the mod but i definately want it

1: N64 EMU

2: MAME

3: Linux

and for those fo you who say "thats why they make PCs" i prefer to play games on a console with a nice controller in my hands on my 30 inch tv than on my PC running windows XP (LAG) with a keyboard on a 17 inch monitor, and anyon ehear of multiplay games? kinda hard to work with only one keyboard

anyway, lik emost things, its amatter of opinion, if you want the mod and think you will find it useful, by all means upgrade the RAM, if you see no point to it, well no ones forcing you to do it, so whats the big deal?

Well I´ve upgraded my ram to 128, mainly for MAME. This is the third time I did it, and it feels so great after all that work you press the power button and voila it works.

i would love to do the mod, but haven't got my hands on those memory chips yet and i'm kinda worried about soldering it by hand. Seems like a real b*tch to do.

Ok, resizing the videos did not work, and I didn't want to downsize them any. I just uploaded them to an FTP server where they will be posted on emule for a while. Don't ask me what to search for, I'm not posting them. Hopefully soon they will also be on a website, which I will post here when that happens.
