I really wish I knew how.. I have looked at at all the walk throughs and still can't follow. and I can solder just fine, but I just don't follow.. I could make so much money doing it if i knew how. right now I have to drive 3 hours away to get them done for people.

I've done 3 already, and am working on a 4th. The 1st two were 1.0 boxes that I upgraded from Enigma beta. Patching every game was getting old fast! The 3rd was a 1.4, and the one I'm working on now is a Halo edn. 1.4. It wouldn't flash at first, but I now know its because Evox can't handle Winbond chips. I'm going to try raincoat tonite.

i have been doing softmods for people, but now i think ill be doing alot more TSOPs.

its so much easier than i thought it would be.

Okay this is for all you TSOP flashing pr0s...

My other post hasn't got a response so I'm asking here: how do you RE-flash a TSOP with Raincoat 0.7? I have been told you can run it as an App but there is no .xbe so how the hell do you do this?

you could use evox edit the evox.ini file and remove the # infront of flash bios

i flashed 5 TSOPs
3 winbond (no prob.)
2 ST (no prob.)
1 SHARP (F**** YOU SHARP. WORKED OVER ( HOURS ON IT TO GET IT TO WORK YOU BIT**)

If some body could help i would be very thankfull i have 10 xboxs all diff ver i have tried every fourum and i still can't flash a tsop i did the jumper points like xbox-sences said tried rain coat a few diff vers of it and still can't do it is some thing common that is going rong i am fed up with the hole thing bout to start usen a hammer. if some body could help that would be sweet
is there a way to did useing a xbit i have one of those its working well

I've probably done about 50. I've only encountered a sharp once and I couldn't believe what i had to do to get it to work, it was crazy. Other then that i've had a lot of people i've done them for accidently flash their xbox and then get scared and turn them off. So i have to split the bios in four ways and reflash and fix it for them hahah.

I have done 12, 6 hynix, 2 hyundai, 3 St, and 1 winbond. Everything was all good except the winbond because I don't normally use raincoat, so I did not know that the particular winbond chip I was doing had to be wiped completely, bit for bit, so exoX kept freezing while erasing and making me all nervous that it would not boot again. After reading up on it, figured it out, everything smoothly from there on out!
