sharps.. i dono why theres such a problem with them.. boot with 3rd unjumped, jump it, flash it with a good bios and reboot

not really kept track on the ammount of xboxes i've modded so far but it must be somewhere between the 125-150.
i've modded all types of xboxes (except 1.6) and flashed al kinds of tsop's.

I flashed somewhere around 60, seen no sharp tsop's mostly 1.2/1.3 but some really early 1.0 with the really flimsy controller ports on a daughterboard (I hated them kept thiking I was going to break them.

2 haven't worked, 1 I traced to a dead resistor, we put a cheapmod in it. The other one I don't know my friend took it away and fitted an alladin modchip.

I also reflashed a 256K bios to a 1.1 (I was drunk I did this after probably 50 succesful flashes) luckily I have a solderless modchip for such an occasion.

i have flashed about 60 tsops no sharps only becuase i have not seen any

ive done a ton of tsop flashing, but i had one weird version 1.0. It had a kernal in the 3000 range(3985maybe) and the bios chip was made be hyundai(however you spell it) neither raincoat or evox have the flash line for it.

ive done 32, mostly for friends and family, and my kids buds..

2 sharps not too bad really, just have to remember to unsolder the top point.

been lucky i guess no bad flashes yet. knock on wood.

I've done somewhere around 50 I'd estimate ... only one Sharp ... it was a bitch iirc ...

Screwed up two or three boards myself (including my own which is now running with the font exploit) ... two by ripping off the pads while trying to redo the solder points, and one when all the PCB around one of the solder points melted and I couldn't get solder to stay after that ...

Those were a while ago though ... I'm pretty good at it now, though I'm getting unbelievably sick of doing it (was only charging $20 a pop, doesn't make it quite worth my time) ...

done 8 so far, all with raincoat as I have never tried any other way. I now use my xbox with avalaunch to telnet into an unmodded xbox to flash it.

I use the splinter cell savegame hack, haven't stuffed up any.
Have done 4X1.0 2X1.1 2X1.3.

came across a v1.6 a couple of weeks ago and I was so sad as I bought it for my brother and I couldn't mod it. So he went to school and swapped it for an old one (the new one had a philips drive and the old one (swapped) had a sammy Yay).

All in all tsops are fun, I wouldn't mind a 1.0 so I could switch bioses and run xbox live, can you get that in Australia?? how much does it cost

Same here, my first too, just 5 min ago. WOOOO!!!

Almost had a heartattack though.

I was too lazy to solder it (ahem, I was too unskilled), and tried taping pieces of aluminum foil to the board. After 20 tries or so, I got frustrated and decided to hold down the aluminum foil with my fingers. Lo and behold, raincoat started erasing the TSOP. I was so shocked, I let go, and it stopped at 90 percent ERASING.

Being the noob that I am, I didn't realize I could just program it again if I don't turn off the xbox until about 5 min later. Thank god there were no power outages.

i have no idea how many....

ive used evox for doin it except like the half a dozen times ive run into winbond chip's. i havent seen any sharp tsop's yet, but i want to do one just so i can say ive done them (lol)

ive only done about 15-20 live switches so far...
