The m$ bios is capable of being 256KB (it is on 1.2+). On 1.0 and 1.1 it was 1MB, I don't know why, but I think 1.2+ went to 256 for cost issues and to stop multibios TSOP

anyways I thinks its just cool to TSOP.

True Live is a rip off when you can use XBConnect or XLink.

So yer I think my Xbox is going to have 256+256+256+256 on the TSOP

. This will be something like Cromwell, X24978 (FTP), Evox M7 and original.

I would say yes. I normally do 2 or 3 TSOP's a week. I have only done 2 chip installs. Once I show people what you can get, and show them xlink KAI they are all for it.

actually since you placed this in a TSOP thread you are likely to get the bias that people come here to read/know/do TSOP flashing. So the numbers for your poll will prove innacurate if you want to use it statistically.

you got me there. all I know is that most people here are all about TSOPs just as much as if you go to a modchip thread they're all about modchips, so the numbers will be off on a poll such as this.

How bout the general hardware/technical chat?

And i recommend TSOP, because its free cost's you nothing, and you can pass on the savings to your customers if you want (i havent really I charge $80 (AUD probably 50ish USD) which is high in my opinion, however I offer a full service with the software, loading on all the apps they need, show 'em how to use if it neccessary, and upgrade their software for free if they drop by(xbmc and dvd2xbox especially).

I have never done a modchip, I usually ask them if they will use xbox live, But i tell them the downsides of xbox live (original games, xblive subscription in addition to broadband, possibility of getting banned), and the alternatives of xlink etc. Most people get the mod to save money, so they aren't interested in xbox live if they know about xlink.
