Movie Trailers Not Working W/ 11/11/04 Build

First I could get the apple movie trailers to work, and not the shoutcast radio streams. then the apple movie trailers stopped working...

I then ugraded to the latest build 11/11/04, and the movie trailers are still not working, but the shoutcast is now working... any ideas? is this problem coming from apple's side?

Same here. It sometimes (after a couple) freezes at the very end of the trailer.

Also, some trailers freeze halfway into the caching part. (IE-try 'Bad Education') It freezes 100% of the time you try to play that one.

Yeah, we know the author knows. But i think we are referering to the patched version(s) (or at least i am) that is available to work for 11-11-04 is also still having glitches with them.

Yes the freezing after 2 movies happens for me also... hope this gets fixed, this is a great feature...

also a feature request... I would like to watch on high-quality but my dsl can only smoothly play it at medium-quality... I wouldnt mind waiting a few seconds for a buffer to build up so I could watch it on high-quality... Please get a hard-drive buffer on this ... that would be great

I hope so too!!!! I love that feature also. Very usefull. I love watching trailers.

If your dsl can't play it smoothly, you really need to call you company and bitch to them about slow connections. I can't count how many times i've went to peoples houses and set up there systems (through work) and have yet to run into a single machine using DSL or Cable that couldn't play them smoothly. Also go to www.dslreports.com and try the proggie that checks your speed so you know ahead of time what your dealing with.

You could try bumping up the cache settings for internet in the XBMC config a bunch, but honestly you shouldn't have to have a reason to even do that. You shouldn't have any problems with using High quality trailers.
