WOW 6 hrs and no one can help? Man...All you vetern flashers have never gotten to where it wont flash BUT have the points soldered right on the dot?

did you check it with a multimeter, or some sort of continuity test?

if it has a continuity test (beeps when leads touch) follow the two traces leading away from both points and touch the leads to them. if the meter can get cont accross your solder job then it is good. you can also use the resistance mode. should be close to zero if connected.

oops wait I just checked again, you cant go really far cuase the pints dont go much further but I did go as far as I could and I did get solid "BEEP" I went as far as to the NVIDIA chip (you cannot get to the one under the chip) but I went to the 1 before that and got solid beep.

what about the next point (beside the tsop)?
you may have done the bottom, it is the same as the one next to the tsop on top. either way, are one of those connected?

If Im supposed to do BOTh sets of points NO I didnt, I only did the ones in the yellow circle I thought by the way he made it sound "the tow points are highlighted in red. easy enough too do." I thought meant JUST the ones in yellow circle.

FINALLY I got it!!! Thank you everybody, you are all great help and very patient. Now I just gotta get SLAYERS on there MS DASH is UGLY....

Glad you got it figured out. I just was reading this thread and was gonna post the solution for you....its funny cause i did the same thing on the first one i did. There is something about that large yellow circle on the picture that draws your attention from the r7d2 points up higher. I must have read that tut 100 times and carefully studied the diagram....obviously not carefully enough.....
