I know we're supposed to read forums and stuff first, so I've done that. Read all the tuts, forums, been on xbins-help a lot, so please hear me out.
We did a 007 exploit with raincoat to flash the TSOP a while ago and put GentooX on the box. Now I have more use of it as a regular box again. So I want to reflash the TSOP.
I have a chameleon modchip, and I've been using that to boot evox and attempt to reflash. I've tried raincoat gamesave again... it doesn't work. Tried raincoat through evox as an app... that doesn't work. Tried font exploit... that doesn't work. I can't get raincoat to load and I can't get the box to do anything with the chip disabled. I've reformatted and installed all the necessary software on the harddrive. After booting with my chip, I can load M$ dash through evox, so I know it's all there. If I do boot the box without the chip in, it loads a fragged GentooX screen.
I've read the forums regarding fixing bad TSOP flashes, too, and couldn't get anywhere. Maybe I am being retarded and missing a major point, but if you could hit me with your 2X4 in that direction I'd appreciate it. Thanks all.
