But, my point still does stand. Getting a samsung 605 is a rip off at the 100 buck pricing we see here.
And by the bys I am very much NOT a noob. just coz I haven't made a lot of posts doesn't mean I don't follow xbox modding closely. Oh yeah, and I made a typo in the first post there, and said "all" instead of "most". Anyway, so I will rephrase, "Most new xboxs right now have the samsung drive, not all". There. better?  

And whoever said something to me about getting a second xbox and blah blah, I have to say that I already have, and thats why I did the post in the first place. It actually cost me less than the pricing that I said in my first post, but I figured I may have just gotten a lucky good deal, so I upped the possible costs a wee bit to compensate.
And its true that I was and am not selling anything through this post, but like I said before it was just a thought that more people should do the same... for those of you who got angry... well, I guess maybe you were into the samsung selling scene?    . In that case, sorry I guess

and for the other thing, nothing to get all hyped up about mon. I said "could" afterall... not "would". I was totally vague and did not state any sort of "percentage" or "chance" of getting a sammy in an used xbox.   . Everyone was assumed to take it however they want really... just didn't expect anyone to freak out over that

The good Thomsons won't be any worse than a Samsung if your not using CD-R, so the laser replacement could be good value if u can install it and it is one of the better Thomson lasers

But a modded 616t in your box and you'll never regret. Cost more but worth it. 16x vs 5x to boot!!
