I tired to flash the tsop my frined has winbond and i tired thru evox and it hung so im guessing i soldierd the correct points. so i got a splintercell save with rainvoat so i loaded it up and launched raincoat i heard some sounds and then at the top of the screen it had some stuff it sayd in like white lettering and black border. SO then i try to telnet to the xbox and it doesnt work then read that 007 idiot proof tut. and i tried messing with my router and alsmot f***** it up im not messing with it anymore what do i do? <

Raincoat gives the Xbox the IP address 192.168.0.64 on subnet mask 255.255.255.0 Set your computer to 192.168.0.* where * is not 64 or any other number assigned to any other computer on your network. XP will set the subnet automatically, 98 needs it putting in.

No need to mess with your router, you don't require it, you are only using it as a switch/hub.

Then open a command prompt and follow the raincoat instructions. <

Ok so i got it to connect and it askes me for login so i type root then it says password and i cant type anything w/e i type i cant see then it says ssh controll turned off or something like that any guesses
it says: sh: cant access tty; job contrll turned off
