« on: April 06, 2004, 12:51:00 PM »

This is what is written to the flash.log file when i try to flash:

QUOTE
-[ 007 TSOP Flash Kit v1.0 alpha 6 started: Tue Apr  6 22:09:48 UTC 2004 ]-----

raincoat Flasher  0.5  [email protected]  (tsop version by [email protected])
Checking for raincoat.cfg...
Flash types read: 0

UNKNOWN DEVICE manf=0xDA, dev=0x8C
Try adding the device ID to raincoat.cfg

and a copy of the winbond section of raincoat.cfg:
QUOTE

Flash = 0xda45,"Winbond W29C020",0x40000
Flash = 0xdab5,"Winbond W39L020",0x40000
Flash = 0xda0b,"Winbond W49F002U",0x40000
Flash = 0xda8c,"Winbond W49F020",0x40000
Flash = 0xdab0,"Winbond W49V002A",0x40000
Flash = 0xda46,"Winbond W29C040",0x40000
Flash = 0xdab6,"Winbond W39L040",0x80000
Flash = 0xda3d,"Winbond W39V040A",0x80000

If someone knows the line i add here or to evox.ini(the syntax appears the same) I would be greatful.

Try NOT using the eurasia flasher.  As you'll see in the flash.log file, this is using eurasia's version of raincoat 0.5.  God knows where it keeps its raincoat.conf file, but it's obviously not reading yours.

Best bet: 007savewithraincoat, replace raincoat and raincoat.conf with the ones from raincoat 0.7 (see my sig. for a link) and telnet in to do it.

BTW you're right about the syntax, it's the same as evox.ini.  Unfortunately EvolutionX can't flash Winbond chips.
