I Did A Tsop Flash For My Friend

Yeah anyways my dumb friend did this trying to find a way to boot when of his backups after i stated to him to stay away from this menu/section.  No his xbox has a black screen and the power button flashes red.

What can you guys recommend to fix this?  If my friend buys a modchip can he fix this or is all lost and hes ganna have to get a new xbox?  <

he turned the power off in the middle of the flash??? not very patient.
tehre's a similar thread here, and like the guy said you could either get any modchip, but you'd have to use that modchip from then on. or you could get a 29 wire cheap modchip to get accesss to the tsop for a reflash.  <

I think you need some new friends  ;)

Anyways, if his Xbox is a v1.0/1.1 you might be able to get it to boot by installing a TSOP switch. Maybe, just maybe it managed to flash the first 1 or 2 banks before he switched it off.

btw, in future, either remove the flash bios line from the evox.ini file OR delete the bios.bin file/s from the bios folder so something like this won't happen again.  <

This happened to 2 people's xboxs, that i tsop flashed, the easiest corse of action in my opinion would be to go buy an alladin advanced (~$)20 or some other cheap mod type chip.  Just install that and use that from now on and charge your friend some money.  He must pay for his stupidity.   ;)
