ok, i followed this great tutorial by Blue called "TSOP Flash Alll versions"

Ok so i did eveyrthing, soldered the points correctly.
XBOX version 1.2+

Xbox boots MSdash and when I try and insert a backup CD of my friends game, it loads it up but hangs at the MS XBox sign. Tried it with other unsigned games. Didn't work. So then I put in my originial copy of mechassault. Boots fine. BUT ... now the eject fix works. I can eject it and it doesn't restart.

It doesn't read my friends backup game. Also, it creates a gamesave in the harddrive of the xbox of the backup game. For example for the game "Sims Busting out". It makes a gamesave but is stuck at the MS Xbox logo. I know i've soldered and flashed it right because the eject fix is working. And I don't know my Bios version, i just let Mecheurasia handle it !

But what do I do now ?! PLease help me out oh people of XBox scene ! And please, I'm against piracy and hate backups but i just needed to see if it would run unsigned code as I didn't have the time to burn Slayers to CDrw.   <

what bios did you use M7 or 4981.67 xecuter2 plus to say the xecuter has a date loop on there bios check your systems date and time and it mite be that your dvddrive wont read his media iv have media that wouldnt work try like DVD OptiDisc or RitTech or just any cheap dvd disc hope this helps   <

I do  not know the bios I used lol. Its in Mech Eurasia. My kernel is now 5101(it was 5530) and it still can't load PBL because it gives a fuzzy screen.   <

Btw, can I reflash it with Mecheurasia, and change the bios.bin in the 000000 folder to xeceture 4987 bios(of course renaming it)? Would it work or would my Xbox become a door stop.  <

yes you can so this to update the bios just make sure you use the newest bios

the problem to me sounds like your dvd-rom though? what kinda rom do you have a Thompson? if so you need to burn burn you dvd-r's at 1x to work ok.

Oh and make sure your bios is the same size as whats in your folder

Try using decent discs.  Anything using a Ritek G04 (deep purple) dye is an example of a good disc.
Avoid cheaper discs, they tend to be made by Princo (pale purple dye) and a lot of Xboxes hate them.  <

If it says your kernel is 5101, then it's probably EvoxM7.

Ok i replaced the bios.bin(256 k)in the 0000 folder in mecheurasia. with the latest xecetur bios x2 4981. Reflashed it. Powered off. Tried again by loading a backup, and it still doesn't work. I have a phillips drive !

Oh yeah, grospolina sorry for that stupid question on how to load Evoxdash after flashing a bios. Strangely, everytime before i ask a quesiton, I make sure i Search, if I can't find the answer, then I post the question, but after posting it,lol i get the answer. from another source usuallylol. Oh yeah, the bios is supposed to load evoxdash.xbe from the C: I put in evox.ini with the sub directories into C: but still...
the problem is that  the evoxdash.xbe is displaying the same shitty MSlogo   just like the post in the Dashboard exploit i made(same xbox). And it keeps rebooting to that shitty MSLOGo. Now luckily i still can ftp in by loading mechassault, and I've deleted evoxdash, and now it loads fine with MS. Does anybody know how to fix this ?

Also few more questions, is there a limit to reflashing the TSOP with Eurasia ?

And, PBL still can't load aaaaaaaaargggggh !!  It loads better now, as in less fuzziness, but i don't know why it still doesn't load properly. I have  a focus chip. Somebody help !

Can i reflash it with an older bios like the older xecetur bios so that this great PBL works.  Help me oh people of the scene !!
