I know nothing at all about programing but would it be hard to implement the icon cache adjuster in the cache adjuster menu. That way no line of code or whatever in the xml would have to be changed. It seems like it makes sense, since it is a cache issue just to include it in the gui with the rest of the cache settings (video, audio, etc). I think that would make this release even more complete.

Also, I will be creating a new thread for these new wide icons, for all new requests, it will have guidelines, download links, site links, etc.

In the new thread I will also have a rar of all banners for Xbox Games, & TV Shows, and also a link to download the newest user created wide icons...

I'll be working on this this week, and will post the new wide icon thread around next xbmc release

'Gamester17'  from my understanding the TV section is not getting it own section in XBMC but will be a part of My Videos (but have its own IMDB type lookup) and if you want to seperate it then you need to create seperate shares or it.
But the good news is XBMC now also supports saving of view and sort type on a per folder basis instead of a per section basis.  
    This means that you can have your TV share display wideicons and your Movie share display thumbs or a custom dvdtype view (if you make it) or if you have another misc share it can display in List if you want and XBMC will now remember it each time you enter a folder.  (you will probably need to turn off auto switching in the setting section)

you need to open up CommonViewTypes.xml and find the include WideIcon_Big and change all the sizes/positions of all the text and graphics to suit what you want

Since it doesn't let me search the thread, I was curious if anyone had success making this work with a network drive.  I have all my TV shows on my server and through SMB don't know if the icons will function the same...

I neglected to say you must re-boot the x-box in order for it to be recognice by xbmc, that's another reason it took me a lot of time to get it just right...

also you have to make sure you select wide icon big for your settings. I am running the new XBMC ver

I just got into wide icons so I made a couple last night including beyond good and evil, it has the scanlines though.
I will post some others, people can d/l them or upload them to the site if they wish.

right click - save as.
