....I use EvoX...it ain't fancy...but it does...it does well and reliably. If Chokemaniac would make a project mayhem III skin for it...that would just complete my themed XBOX (I tried...but I am not very talented  wink.gif .......

Thanks Jezz...it's a nice skin...I am going to switch from Project Mayhem II for awhile and see how I like this skin. I had a different idea in mind...I was trying to make a skin out of one of those darker wallpapers on Chokey's website (the one with all the cubes).

P.S. Sorry for being off topic

I use XBMC as my default dash and Evox as my secondary dash (eject-on).  After reading this thread I'll be checking out UnleashX and may be replacing Evox from it's prized position.

I think a better question/poll would be "Who doesn't use XBMC as their dashboard?"...

Avalaunch with XBMC on quicklaunch.
Thought about switching but I like the HDD scanning in Avalaunch better than XBMC's. When I install for noobs I sometimes do XBMC as dash.

I have been on a search for the best overall setup for a long time, and well I think I found it. Why use only one dashboard when you can use them all at the push of a button. I find myself using evox a lot because im always rebooting and I don't like to wait very long for my dash to pop up. When I'm not working on something and I'm just wanting to play games or watch xbmc streamed movies/tv shows off my computer I prefer "XBMC.Strange.Edition". When I want to show the xbox off for a quick wow its UnleashX.

Of course Im referring to the "X-switch" setup that works with all the best dashboards, Evox, Avalaunch, XBMC, UnleashX, Uix, and more...

If you dont want to spend the time setting this up yourself you could download "X-disk" and it will help you get started. This setup makes it easy to change dashboards for specific purposes and never lets your xbox get stale. I highly recommend checking it out.

I use EvoX for debug mode (update xbmc & and take in game screens) and to send large files (games & movies)....for everything else, I use XBMC.

I used to use Unleash, but I found that XBMC was personally better.

I switched to XBMC about a year ago, and have been using it ever since.

Can you even do game preview videos your xbox games from using XBMC. Also isn't annoying to have to go in the F:\  folder just to get to your games and movies? Just curious, let me know, Thanks <_<

I don't because you don't have video game previews, and you have to go through 2 or 3 steps just to watch a movie or play an xbox game.

Unleash X Ruuulllleeess! :)

laugh.gif laugh.gif  laugh.gif , u need u tryout xbmc a little more.

- xbmc can view "game previews", GameSpot script
- u dont need to take "2 or 3 steps to watch a movie" or "go in the F:\ folder" if you have xbmc configured to ur liking. (take a look at the xboxmediacenter.xml).

UnleashX, mostly for its file manager, and makes it easier to update my XBMC every time I update builds.

XBMC is my first line item on the menu, so 75% of the time I power up and just hold the "A" button so it goes straight into XBMC anyway.

I should really consider using XBMC as my dash.
